Maybe we should wait for this Guide to be published and only talk about the places that are not included in it, to render this “promotional” exercise more entertaining. In any case, let’s look at a couple that seem interesting, but of course not with any claims of completeness. Even if its programme would benefit from some structuring (without losing any of its fresh approach), its perspective is promising. With regards to the music scene, and less intimate settings, the Société de Musique Contemporaine de Lausanne proposes concerts of unusual and little-known works.

If you wish to escape the city centre, then I would suggest that you go see the covered part of Renens’ market square, which scintillates in its aerial elegance. Sit yourself on one of the benches to read a work from the Van Dieren / coll. Rip on/off Editions, for example the book “Parataxes. Fragments pour une architecture des espaces sonores” by Michael Gendreau, which seems fitting for such a place…
