Inaugurated in 1989 in order to unite the print collections scattered around canton Vaud, the Cabinet cantonal des Estampes is housed at the Musée Jenisch in Vevey. Today it gathers over 30,000 pieces and is regularly completed by new acquisitions. This important collection is presented to the public by way of shows which are regularly rehung. Since the Musée Jenisch was transformed in 2012, the Cabinet des Estampes has gained a consultation cabinet, where scholars can now consult the specialised library and the works it contains on appointment. Artistes shown in the past: Durer, Rembrandt, Lorrain, Piranesi, Canaletto, Corot, Bonnard, Villon, Picasso and Tal Coat.
