ELAC

Situated in the heart of ECAL in Renens since 2007, the elac gallery (espace
25 lausannois d’art contemporain) is one of the largest exhibition spaces attached to a school in Europe, with 550 m2. Its varied programme permits the discovery of both students’ work created during workshops and various events, and shows by former students at their peak or established artists. With its gallery, ECAL thus aims to offer a showcase for contemporary art and design in canton Vaud, while serving as a full-scale laboratory for its students. Some artists shown in the past: John M. Armleder, Francis Baudevin, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Valentin Carron, Enzo Cucchi, Philippe Decrauzat, Erwan Frotin, Fabrice Gygi, Körner Union, Bernhard Luginbühl, Helmut Newton, Shirana Shahbazi, Joël Tettamanti, Antoine Boudin, Pierre Charpin, Richard Hollis, Jean-Luc Manz, Christian Floquet, Enzo Cucchi.
