Galerie Guy Bärtschi

On the Geneva art scene for over 20 years, Galerie Guy Bärtschi has succeeded over time in focussing its exhibition programme in an increasingly defined and targeted way, confirming its interest in art from the 1980s to our day . The gallery has been located since September 2010 in La Praille, a former industrial zone, which is undergoing a broad refurbishment plan to become a central, contemporary neighbourhood, a model of city planning for canton Geneva. These new synergies have brought about the creation of the Quartier de l’Étoile, an association linking eleven art spaces in this industrial zone that seek to promote culture in Geneva through a dynamic and international programme of shows and events .
