Halle Nord – Espace d’art contemporain

Halle Nord promotes various current forms of creation while focussing on unique and authentic approaches, without any aesthetic barriers. Independent and open programming, regular partnerships and collaborative projects, create synergies and extend the space’ s reach beyond the borders of Geneva. This gallery is involved in promoting young artists, serving as a springboard to launch them into professional networks. It also allows the work of older or recognised artists to be rediscovered, in order to create awareness and relationships with rich and varied contemporary artistic approaches. Since the beginning of 2013, Halle Nord has grown with the creation of Capsule-s. These two glazed spaces, visible from outside, one dedicated to video, the other to visual arts, enliven the space and offer the varied landscape of
53 contemporary creation to the view of a wider audience. Halle Nord and its Capsule-sfunction as a showcase in the city, by day and by night.
